The whole REL8.com thing started over a year ago, and we had some fun for Valentines 2007, then life got busy with the day job and “stuff” so nothing much has happened since then… But we thought it’s be fun to do something for Valentines 2008 so once again we’re going to blitz Vancouver with special edition REL8 tag cards!

If you’ve been given a card, you can claim/activate it online then give it to that girl or guy you’ve had your eye on lately. They can get in touch with you through the website without either of you having to trade personal details. It’s kinda flirty, kinda fun!

At around 2:30pm this afternoon, the REL8 site got a major update and the REL8 Valentine Adventure launched!

It’s been a long hard slog, I’ve been stressed, tired, hating, all sorts! But it’s mostly done, mostly functional, and up for your viewing pleasure. For Valentine’s day we’re have a street team handing out special edition tag cards. If you get a card, you can register on the site, activate that card, then give it to the object of your affection in the true spirit of Valentine’s!

This paves the way for the launch of the real/main REL8 website. We can extend the prelaunch to offer the same functionality as the Valentine’s day promo (allowing you to actually give cards to other people and get responses) with the full launch having more functionality (like being able to sign up and order tag cards without ever having received one yourself).
